At Base Essentials, we are committed to making choices that are as eco friendly and environmentally sustainable as possible. We think it's important, however, to take our environmental duty even further. That's why we have teamed up with One Tree Planted.
WHAT IS ONE TREE PLANTED?
One Tree Planted is a non for profit organisation that is working to combat deforestation by planting trees. Their aim is to promote the importance of preserving forest ecosystems. In 2020 alone, One Tree Planted managed to plant 10 million trees across the world.
HOW DO THEY HELP?
In Australia, the bushfires alone can burn nearly 6 million hectares of forest. That loss does not even include the impacts that droughts, urban development, and climate change can have on the Australian bush. One Tree Planted has taken it upon themselves to manage bushfire prevention, and to protect the environment as it heals. Not only is One Tree Planted helping to protect biodiversity and create a cleaner, healthier climate, this non for profit also creates jobs, builds communities, and spreads environmental awareness across 43 different countries.
Tree’s are the backbone of life; they clean the air, shelter wildlife, and regulate the climate. We believe it is our corporate responsibility to be a part of the movement towards a cleaner world. Saving the planet starts with planting trees, which is why we are proud to call ourselves partners with One Tree Planted.
HOW IT WORKS
With every order you make at Base Essentials, a tree is planted! Donations are pooled together to fund the growing of saplings, which are then planted and monitored by the One Tree Planted team.
